A memorable moment for the Lusitano breed and for Portuguese Dressage that will be remembered forever! 

The Portuguese Dressage National Team has today confirmed the goal it had set itself: the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020 as a team is now a reality! For the first time in history, Portugal will be represented at the Olympics with a team – it is with pride that we will follow our Lusitano horse competing at the highest level worldwide. Representing the national team were Duarte Nogueira with Beirão (Alter Real), Maria Caetano with Coroado (Alter Real), João Torrão with Equador (Monte Velho) and Rodrigo Torres with Fogoso (Torres Vaz Freire) – congratulations to all for the extraordinary performance!

This year, and more specifically this European Championship, brings numbers that confirm the selection work developed by the breeders in the last 20 years.  A well done to all who believed and contributed to achieve this memorable result!
